Welcome to Sarah Clarkson Art

I am an artist and textile designer based in Edinburgh, striving for a sustainable practice. After learning to machine knit, I set up a small business called Woolly Originals in June 2015 to make products in Scottish wool and Scottish lining fabrics using my own designs. At the same time, I began to expand my artistic practice. This has culminated in the creation of this new website where you can find all my work in one place.
