Lauriston Agroecology Farm, Edinburgh
In early December 2024 I started visiting the allotments at the Lauriston Agroecology Farm in northwest Edinburgh, 10 minutes by bike from my home, for a year-long art project.
During this time I shall be visiting the site twice weekly to sketch the allotments, the people and the surrounding landscape.
At the end of the project, I aim to produce a body of work examining urban farming.
100 Days Scotland
From 1st April until 8th September 2023, I took part in the project, 100 Days Scotland. For 100 days, I drew a daily sketch of a dye plant or mushroom. I made the concertina book with the assistance of Cass of Bookbinding with Cass.
