My sketchbooks provide me with the inspiration to create my art and textile designs. Studies created mainly on location in Scotland provide my primary source material.

My sketchbooks are either made by myself using Fabriano Artistico or Saunders Waterford watercolour rough or HP papers, or are purchased from Pith Supply, Berwick upon Tweed.
